  The winners of the draw which took place on Friday 1st July, 2016 are...
• 'The Big Bandage' Fundraising Day
  Friday 8th July, 2016 is 'The Big Bandage' day. This campaign is to raise money for Birmingham Children's Hospital. Children can wear a bandage to school, alongside their normal school uniform, in return for bringing in a donation for the hospital.
• Job Vacancy
  Shire Services require a Kitchen Assistant at Mereside School, to help prepare and serve meals. To apply go to: www.shropshire.gov.uk/jobs-and-careers. Job reference: SS16/107. Closing date 10th July, 2016.
• PTA Sponsored Trundle
  'Thank you' to all the children who took part in the sponsored trundle on Friday 17th June, 2016 and raised a fantastic £1580.89 for school funds. 'Thank you' also to all parents/carers & family members who sponsored the children.
• Year 6 Belvidere Transition Day - Monday 27th June, 2016
  Children who are going to Belvidere Secondary School on Monday 27th June, 2016 will need to take a packed lunch with them as the Belvidere kitchen will be closed.
• Shrewsbury KS2 School Games Day Tri Golf Event - RESCHEDULED DATE & VENUE
  School Games have notified us of another change of date for this event; it will now take place on Thursday 30th June, 2016. The venue for the event has also changed to The Grange Secondary School.
• Harry Johnson Trust
  A fantastic £49.49 was raised from ice cream sales on Friday 17th June, 2016. This money is being donated to the Harry Johnson Trust; a local children's cancer charity.
• Bag 2 School
  'Thank you' to everyone who filled a bag or bags for 'Bag 2 School'; our bags weighed a total of 181 kilos and have raised a fantastic £72.40 for PTA School Funds.
• PTA Sponsored Trundle Friday 17th June, 2016
  The times for the sponsored trundles are: Wrens 9.15 to 9.30, Robins 9.35 to 9.50, Hedgehogs 9.55 to 10.10, Squirrels 10.15 to 10.30, Otters 11.00 to 11.20, Badgers 11.25 to 11.45, Kestrels 1.20 to 1.40, Red Kites 1.45 to 2.00.
• Shrewsbury KS2 School Games Day Tri Golf Event - CANCELLED & RESCHEDULED
  Due to bad weather being forecast, School Games have cancelled the Tri Golf event only. This event was due to take place as part of the School Games Day on Thursday 16th June, 2016 and has been rescheduled for Tuesday 28th June, 2016.
