Further to comments on social media, we feel it's necessary to put your minds at rest regarding rats being seen on school premises. The school contacted the council 2 wks ago & have had 3 visits from Pest Control to monitor & attempt to eradicate them.
This is common for our school as we are close to the Mere & we regularly monitor our perimeters & school grounds because of this. Furthermore, this matter is addressed within our Forest School Risk Assessment. We would be grateful if concerned parents could come into school to address any queries they have so we may answer them directly.
