Match Report by Ed Stanton and Dan Blower On Wednesday 29th January, 2014 The Mereside U10 football team went and played at Sundorne Sports Village. The first game was 1-0 to Mereside against Much Wenlock with a cracking goal by Joe Loughnane as he hit the ball from an awkward angle with the ball going over the keepers’ head. Our next game we won again 1-0 with a good goal by Will Tudor. The last game was 0-0 with a big change around with all of the positions, as Mereside were already through to the next round. We will be playing again shortly. We want to give a special mention to the parents for standing in the freezing cold. Thank you!
