The MOMO challenge is a particularly unpleasant 'challenge' which has managed to hack into a wide range of online games, video & social media sites displaying disturbing images & challenges. A link to the National Online Safety website is attached.
Unfortunately this MOMO challenge has recently accessed YouTube Kids which has meant that young children have been able to access disturbing and inappropriate images.The character attached to MOMO is a particularly disturbing image and we ask that you do not show your children this image as we have had a number of pupils distressed. Furthermore it is important to reassure your children that this character is not real. The National Online Safety website provides advice on how to deal with this issue.
