Our school entries for this year’s Primary School’s Half Marathon are now closed. Due to the high levels of interest we have been able to secure 100 places! Children who have been successful will complete their 12miles during their class daily run.
If your child was not successful in gaining one of Mereside’s 100 places but would still like to take part, please visit; www.schoolshalfmarathon.co.uk where you can register independantly. Once signed up you will receive instructions on how to record your child’s 12 miles which they need to complete before the final event at 9.00am on Saturday 4th April at Shropshire County Showground.
Obviously they will have the chance to complete the 12 miles required during our daily 15 minute run at school but parents/carers will have to assist their child in keeping an accurate record as we will only be recording details for the children who we have entered via school.
