    On Monday 30th January, 2023 our Head Cook will be offering a special lunch menu to Celebrate the Chinese New Year - Year of the Rabbit.
  • `Hello-Yellow' Fundraiser
    Thank you to everyone who came to school dressed in yellow or bright colours in support of World Mental Health Day on Monday 10th October, 2022. Together we managed to raise a fantastic £334.81 for this worthwhile cause.
  • Harvest Festival 2022
    This year for our Harvest Festival Service will take place at St Giles Church on Wednesday 19th October, 2022. Leading up to this date we are going to be collecting items for the Shrewsbury Food Bank.
  • Harvest Festival Food Bank Donations
    A huge 'Thank you' to all our families for the kind donations of food for our harvest festival. On Friday 15th October 2021, members of our school council together with Mr and Mrs Carr delivered them to the Shrewsbury Food Bank.
  • London Marathon Schools Challenge
    A huge 'well done' to all the children of Mereside for completing the London Marathon Schools Challenge where children completed the goal distance of 2.6miles by walking, jogging or running.
  • Football Come Casual Day Update
    Thanks to your efforts, we managed to raise £279.20 to put towards purchasing playtime equipment for the children.
  • Year 6 Secondary School Transition Days Cancelled
    Shropshire Council have advised that the planned transition visits for our Year 6 students to Secondary schools have been cancelled. 
  • WWF `Wear it Wild' Come Casual Day
    Thank you to everyone who supported the `Wear it Wild’ casual dress day in aid of the WWF (World Wildlife Fund) charity. We managed to raise a fantastic £377.74.
