• Thank you from the Royal British Legion - Poppy Appeal 2022
  We have received notification that for the November, 2022 appeal, Mereside raised a fantastic £349.55 in support of the Poppy appeal!
• PTA EGM, Tuesday 10th January 2023 at 7:45pm (we are looking to appoint a new chair/ vice chair.)
  We would like to wish you all a Happy New Year and thank you for all of your support during our 1st term for the year 22/23. We have a PTA meeting coming up this month which will be held in school:

  Following our EGM, The newly elected Committee members are: Chair -Catherine Crowe/ Secretary -Delyth Kelly/ Treasurer - Sarah Connop. Thanks to Heather Jolly for all her hard work in being Chair of the PTA, and look forward to her continuing support...

  It's great to see how many of our children and their families are already connected online. So far, as of Friday 20th January, the following percentage of each class have joined…
• Chinese New Year Special Lunch Menu - Monday 30th January, 2023
  On Monday 30th January, 2023 our Head Cook will be offering a special lunch menu to Celebrate the Chinese New Year - Year of the Rabbit.
• Children In Need - Come Casual Day - Friday 18th November, 2022
  On Friday 18th November, 2022 we will be raising awareness for ‘Children in Need’. Children can come to school dressed in casual clothes.
• PTA Christmas Disco - Friday 2nd December, 2022
  The PTA will be holding a school Disco for all our children. Please view the PTA consent form below for exact details of the event schedule for each year group. The Disco will take place after school on Friday 2nd December, 2022
• PTA Christmas Jumper Donations
  We all know that buying Christmas jumpers each year can be quite expensive and they are only worn for such a short period of time. We are looking for donations of Christmas Clothing etc which we can then sell on the playground on the 1st December.
• PTA - Bags 2 School Donations from Monday 21st November, 2022
  We would be very grateful if you were able to your donate your unwanted items to school as part of our Bag2school fundraiser. The more they weigh, the more they pay!
• `Hello-Yellow' Fundraiser
  Thank you to everyone who came to school dressed in yellow or bright colours in support of World Mental Health Day on Monday 10th October, 2022. Together we managed to raise a fantastic £334.81 for this worthwhile cause.
